Pleasure.
Everyone yearns for it. In spite of that, everyone's has their idiosyncratic connotation of the expression or term 'happiness'. For my own part, happiness is a profusion of things and extends to multifariousness.
1. My Family: My family helps me to live a happier life since they always support me in making my decisions and show me the right path in which to take that will help me.
2. A sense of belonging: Belonging promotes personal happiness and helps me to live a meaningful life as it allows me to feel apart of a group or community that boosts my self-confidence.
3.Friends: My friends help me to live a meaningful life because they support me in the things that I do and we have the same interests
4. Beliefs: My beliefs (Catholicism) help me live a meaningful life since the bible judges whether my actions are sinful or not as well as Jesus guiding me throughout the way.
In accordance with religion,
various concepts have been indicated to the community regarding natural happiness.
The initial and most widely spread statement is, “greed brings fake happiness.”
As seen in the bible, Jesus says, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye
of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew
19:24. Helping those around you, and giving what you have to others may not
sound appealing, however in reality, it allows us to reach our inner respect.
Hence, we must conduct particular research into an individual’s perception of
happiness to understand their interpretation of the meaning of life.
Strategies that individuals can
adopt in their own lives to promote happiness and meaning include:
· - Interacting with family
· - Participate in church/community events
· - Belonging to a group of friends
· - Food gatherings
· - Praying to God
· - Giving thanks
· - Living a simplistic life
